We first met Vikki and Adrian when we were looking for someone to back our 3yo gelding, Danny. I was looking for someone who would help me continue with his training once backed and also to help me with my confidence whilst jumping my other horse, Jack. Not only are Vikki and Adrian interested in your horse but also you as a rider, asking lots of questions about your expectations and aspirations for yourself and your horses.
After much research and visits to other yards i knew that we had found the right people for us and our horses. I only wish i had met them a lot sooner. Adrian is now teaching my other half, Steve, to ride on one of their lovely schoolmistresses.
Danny is working towards his first dressage test and jumping competition with Adrian, and even though i had a set back due to an old injury Vikki still keeps me positive. So , Jack and I are building our confidence and enjoying our jumping lessons with Vikki,.
Having had two of our horses to Vikki and Adrian for training, and our new horse , Pip, booked in to go soon , i would highly recommend anyone to give them a call for a chat before looking any where else....you will not be disappointed.
I am one very proud owner and couldn't have done it without Vikki and Adrian - Thankyou !!

I would just like to say how pleased I am with my youngster Saskia, who I bought last year from Vikki at Classic Showjumpers. She is a very exciting prospect for the future as she is very trainable and extremely talented. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a well bred, well handled talented youngster to speak to Vikki. Katherine Heslop.

After owning Me De Rebel for 11 months now (how time flies!!), I just thought I'd let you know how pleased I am with my beautiful mare. She's so sweet & loves her work. We have bonded very quickly & she has a fabulous attitude to work with a personality to match. She has a bold scopey jump & we enjoyed having fun & getting to know each other last summer. I have high hopes for her in the forthcoming eventing season with the aim to BE event her in the near future. We have a little collection of ribbons already from last years competitions & we are hoping to add to them this season. Your advert for her was spot on!
I love her to bits & I will let you know how we get on this year. It was lovely to meet you both & thank you for taking the time to introduce me to my new best friend!

And we have competed 1*.I very sadly had to part with her and shes gone to a lovely pony club family just next door to where I work! They absolutely love her as well and twigs is winning everything with them as well! Everyone seems to know her now, she's a little celebrity horse in Sussex :)

On Air CS - I got him as a 4y/o AES reg home bred by Adrian and Vikki Evans. He's a modern blood type , careful and scopey. He ticks all the right boxes , a very exciting prospect . He's achieved 3 double clears at his first 2 shows with Jane Annett. Adrian and Vikki are always happy to offer advice and point you in the right direction. Many thanks Richard Busby

Since buying Dutsy Van Het Hek 15 months ago Ruby and Dutsy have won over 20 classes all over the county. She is a horse in a million.

The view of Caprice CS's new owners trainer"You will certainly have lots of fun with Fawn, she’s going to be an amazing horse, she will be a brilliant eventer as she’s so brave. Nothing seems to scare her so XC will be fab, she jumps huge so SJ isn’t an issue and she has the paces for Dressage too, she is perfectly bred for the job! "

I purchased the coloured 3 year old stallion called Amulet from Vikki Evans on 24th February 2012, after seeing him advertised on their website & various other horse sales pages.
I didn’t have time to go & see Amo before I bought him I just saw the photos & the video. In the flesh Amo had much more presence & personality than the photos or video could ever show him off to be the outstanding horse that he is.
Amo more than exceeded expectations. They kindly delivered Amo down to Lincolnshire for me, when he threw open the doors to the horsebox I was elated with what I saw.
Nothing could have been put into words how stunning Amo was to see for the first time. He completely took my breath away. His temperament is amazing. You could tell that Vikki had done a wonderful job influencing this young boy’s soul.
The pictures & the video did not do Amo any justice at all. When I asked Adrian how many people had been to see Amo, he said no one. I could not believe my ears.
It just goes to show that if something takes your eye you must go & see the animal in the flesh. Vikki could not say any more how ultra special Amo was. Never look at photos or a video & make that final judgement until you’ve seen the horse in the flesh.
Vikki & her staff were delightful people to deal with. Everything they said about Amo was perfectly true. There was no hard sell at all. There pricing for horses are very reasonable, people definitely need to go to experienced horse sellers yard like Vikki Evans.
I would highly recommend anyone looking for a quality sports horse or show jumper to call on Vikki Evans first before contacting anyone else. Their stock is amazing, the quality of horses is out of this world, and they pick & breed the rawest natural talent.
Kind Regards – Diarmid Scorgie

I bought my now 8 year old warmblood gelding, Dorrells Balisardo, from Adrian and Vikki 4 and a half years ago when they were based at Chailey Stud.
I had been trawling through horse adverts for ages but nothing stood out at me. Then one evening I came across the advert for Bali. It was a lot further than we had wanted to travel but after speaking with Adrian on the phone, we decided Bali sounded something special, so made the journey to go and see him, and he certainly is something special!
When we arrived at Chailey Stud, Adrian and Vikki were very welcoming - We couldn't have asked for anymore. They showed me Bali and gave me a free choice of what I wanted to see him do. He was only just starting his ridden education. We saw him loose jump and Adrian rode him, I then rode Bali myself.
I was offered two weeks bonding livery to ensure we were completely suited to each other, but due to living so far away I was unable to take up this opportunity. However, Adrian did keep Bali for an two extra weeks on schooling livery and in this time took him from just being able to trot under saddle to cantering and popping a fence under saddle, including planks and fillers.
Bali is now registered BSJA and jumping consistent double clears, being placed nearly every time out. He is one in a million!
I would highly recommend Adrian and Vikki to anyone looking to buy a horse and I myself would certainly go back to them if I was looking for another.

I brought Honora A.C.E AKA Honey from Adrian and Vikki when she was a 9 month old foal. I found Adrian and Vikki very helpful and they sent me alot of pictures of Honey to let me know how she was doing before we got her.
I would recommened Adrian and Vikki to other people for training or buying horses.
Honey is now nearly a year old and doing very well with a lovely calm temperment. She shows promising abilities for the future and I cant wait to start backing and training her. Cant thankyou enough! Thanks Lisa, Jess and Honey x

We are pleased to provide a written piece informing others of the service we have received from Vikki and Adrian Evans.
The advert for Darcy was open and honest and, although it was further than we really wanted to travel to view a new horse, it was worth the trip. Darcy was exactly how described and more. She was clearly relaxed around people and had a calm and friendly temperament, which was just what we wanted – all credit to how she had been reared by Vikki and Adrian.
Vikki and Adrian were very accommodating with our queries and the transaction of purchase was quickly dealt with. We were very grateful for them to transport Darcy and I still feel bad that I could not offer Adrian a cup of tea at least!!
We have now had Darcy for 2 months and we are thoroughly enjoying getting to know her more each day. She has been dressed up, hacked to shows and then spent nearly all day there before hacking back home and she has never complained!! We have not showed her a great deal but she has been placed 1st and 3rd in the few we have entered. We are currently working towards X country events and will keep you posted.
A lovely moment for me was when I picked Romi up from the stables later than usual and Romi was sitting on her tack box in the stable, drawing a picture of Darcy who stood sleepily facing her and nibbling her hair!! I wish I had taken a photo.
Thanks for introducing us to a wonderful friend.
Debbie, Romi and Steve.

I bought my horse, Uiterrard , from Adrian and Vikki 5 years ago. Hes everything i could have imagined and more. I have enjoyed great success on him in both Dressage and amateur showjumping. He is very talented as a showjumper and so i have asked Adrian to compete him for me once a fortnight for the past few months. Despite the fact Uite lives at home with me, and Adrian only gets on him at the shows, the horse has been placed almost always in the top two EVERY time out. Im delighted that im able to enjoy riding/competing my horse myself and have him competed at a higher level on my behalf. I couldn't ask for a friendlier and more knowledgable contact. Also since bringing my dressage horse for training with Adrian my marks and therefore my placings have improved dramatically.

I have had a horse on livery with Vikki Evans since 2001. During this time, I have received guidance on general care, competition feeding routines and training programmes. Vikki and Adrian have always looked after my horses as if they were there own, which is a huge benefit to me as I often have to work away from home. Both Vikki and Adrian have both competed my horses for me, and qualified them for British Novice 2nd rounds , National Amateur Championship 2nd rounds, Blue Chip Woof Wear Novice. Since 2005, all three of my horses have been found for me by Vikki and Adrian. The knowledge they have of my physical ability and mental agility, means that they are able to choose a horse that is right for me, at the right time, and at the right price. Following a consultation to find out what I want from a horse, each horse has been given careful consideration. Under their expert training, I have been given the confidence to jump at county shows, and am now looking forward to jumping at Hickstead.

Dear Vikki and Adrian, As you know, I purchased Rio ( 7 year old Dutch Warm blood mare) from you almost a year ago now, primarily for my 13 year old daughter, Catherine, to ride. She was the twelfth horse that we looked at and, I must say, I was beginning to think that the perfect horse didn't exist! We are so very pleased that we found you and her. Rio is the most gorgeous horse that I have ever known. She is just perfect. We tried her out twice - and thank you Adrian for your excellent tuition in the school and over the jumps. The transition from ponies to a 16.1hh horse is not easy for a 13 year old. But the decision to buy her was easy, particularly following the excellent results of her five star vetting. You sold Rio to us as a show jumper and she has jumped plenty of double clear rounds for Catherine. But, hey, the horse can do more! Due, I'm sure, to the excellent schooling that you had given her, Rio is doing very well at dressage too. Catherine's dressage instructor describes her as a very genuine horse who obviously enjoys her work (and she doesn't usually like mares!) We have also been cross country training with her and Catherine has just competed in her first one day event. Above all though, Rio has such a lovely temperament, that is admired by many. I have never seen her put her ears back at another horse…no matter what they are doing to her!! My other daughter, Claire, who was very nervous of horses, handles Rio with confidence. Rio is so kind and forgiving and I trust her completely. So, as you can tell, we love her. I know that you genuinely wanted her to go to a good home and we are so pleased that you decided to sell her to us. She is absolutely everything that you said that she was…and more. We are frequently asked where we got our lovely mare from and we have no hesitation in recommending you and your stud farm to anyone looking to buy a perfect horse. Very best wishes, Nicola.

Vikki and Adrian have had our stallions and young mares at their excellent establishment on numerous occasions and and I have always been most satisfied with their level of training and care. Regards Celia Argent Zilver Stud

"When I first went to Chailey, I was just a happy hacker attending the odd riding club show. I desperately needed help with my 4yr old KWPN Romantic. Adrian and Vikki worked very hard with Romantic but I decided I personally was not ready for such a challenge and quite frankly just wanted to have fun. Id fallen in love with one of Vikkis Mares- Binka - A lot smaller and with far more experience we agreed a part exchange would be the best move forward. Binka- To say the leaste was an absolute diamond. She bought back the fun into my riding and never put a foot wrong. With Adrians hard work and training I was able to take Binka to BSJA classes with confidence - A massive step for me! After lots of hard work and training with Chailey it was soon time to move on from Binka, so Adrian succesfully sourced me yet another fantastic mare Acienda - stable name Pink! A 16.3 Belgium Warmblood - She was much more of a challenge for me but every training session and show we went to she left me with a huge smile. We are currently jumping Foxhunter and she is a dream. I cant thank Adrian and Vikki enough for their hard work and commitments to my training, for being responsible for finding such wonderful horses, and doing such a great job with Romatic who has since produced Adrain and Vikki 2 Stunning homebred foals!!

Marciano CS "I bought Marcie from Vikki & Adrian just from the advert- blind as it would have been a very long journey. I found their description of him accurate and honest. They sent me lots of photos and updates about him whilst his papers & passport were dealt with by the society. As you can see from the photos he soon was backed and within a couple of months jumping well! I would definitely buy another from Vikki and may even take the long trip down to East Sussex to meet them next time."
- Zoe Atkinson and Marciano CS
"When I bought my horse, Caesar Z back in July 2006, Vikki and Adrian asked what my riding experience and ability was to determine whether he was suitable for me and he was what I was looking for. They invited me to their stables and worked with me and Caesar to ensure we were compatible before we took him away. I was offered two weeks bonding livery with Caesar to ensure that we were all completely happy with the relationship I had with him. I found them both very helpful and friendly and would not hesitate to buy or recommend them in the future. Caesar is exactly the horse they said he is and to say I am pleased with him is an understatement. "
